CHRISTOPHER MYERS BMIL (B.Mil (BA); Tech IOSH)
Mr Chris Myers has completed ten-years full-time service in the South African Navy as a surface warfare officer, bomb disposal operator and instructor, a completed two and a half years service as a vessel Master with the South African National Ports Authority and completed five years service as a reserve force volunteer.
He has now spent fifteen years in the offshore oil & gas, renewable energy and cable sectors and has experience in project and package management (ROV services and wind farm construction), Company Representative (IMCA C02 and OGP), ROV Superintendent (IMCA R20), Underwater Inspection Controller (CSWIP 3.4U), ACFM Crack Micro-gauge Technician (CSWIP Level 1), Ultrasonic Thickness Gauging Technician (ASNT Level 2), and Occupational Health and Safety (NEBOSH).
He holds a B.Mil (BA) degree from Stellenbosch University and is working toward the completion of a post-graduate qualification in hydrographic survey earning a Masters degree in Applied Geophysics (University of Plymouth, United Kingdom). He holds additional professional qualifications relating to munitions disposal, auditing and management, health and safety and the offshore industry.
